Betty Jane CLC
Project
The new Betty Jane Community Learning Center includes
classrooms, large activity spaces and physical activity areas
for 450 students, including four kindergarten classrooms, 18
classrooms for grades 1-5 and several special education tutoring
spaces. Each classroom includes overhead digital projectors,
marker boards and cabinet storage. Large-group activity spaces
include a gymnasium and dining hall that can also be used for
testing, community meetings and awards ceremonies. A stage is
attached to the dining hall and equipped with
performance-quality sound and lighting systems. Special spaces
include art and music classrooms and a media center/LRC. Behind
the new CLC will be a large playground and activity fields for
the kids.
