Lancaster, Ohio

We are honored to announce the groundbreaking of Lancaster City Schools’ new Thomas Ewing Jr. High School!

The ceremony took place on May 15th, when members of the community gathered in celebration of the building journey ahead for the new 105,338 SF school on Sheridan Drive.  Local Lancaster elementary school students as well as members of the middle school marching band attended the ceremony to sing and play songs in tribute to the community’s soon-to-be new middle school.

Summit Construction has paired up with Resource International as the Construction Manager At Risk to deliver the ground up project that will house students in grades 6-8.

As part of Lancaster City Schools’ ongoing Facility Improvement Program, Summit also served as the CMR for Lancaster Medill Elementary and Lancaster Tallmadge Elementary in 2016.  We are looking forward to delivering yet another state of the art school to the City of Lancaster for the students, staff and community to enjoy for years to come.
