Bringing some life back into the township of Blendon, Summit was tasked with the renovation and upgrade of a miles worth of streetscape improvements.
The scope of services for the streetscape was to excavate/install 17 landscape walls and two entry signs. The landscape walls/entry signs are constructed with a concrete footing, CMU block, stone veneer, and a precast concrete cap. Each landscape wall/sign location will also receive a planting treatment with trees and shrubs. Also, Summit had to install 46 new light poles. These light poles are intended for pedestrian lighting due to the amount of foot traffic within the project limits. Lastly, Summit has to demo and renovate the existing concrete median. The renovated median will include 4 planter beds, brick pavers, and limestone curb.
This beautiful project enhances the township by giving the community better appeal and visibility throughout the day and night.
