Louis J. Ciraldo
Louis Ciraldo, PE founded Summit Construction Company in 1992 and currently serves as the Chief Estimator. Lou has been in the construction industry for more than 40 years, including the past 25 years as the previous President of SCC. While Lou excels in all aspects of the construction business, his skill set for crunching numbers and being a team leader surpasses his other proficiencies. This is apparent from his role as Project Manager in the Canal Park project, his favorite job to this date.
Out of passion and admiration for the City of Akron, his hometown, Lou Ciraldo has spent the past 15 years as a member of the Akron Public School’s Business Advisory Council. He has proudly served as the council’s chair for the past five years. As a member of this council, he assisted in conducting numerous studies and planning recommendations for business affairs such as maintenance, food service, organizational reporting, staff lines, inventory building, and transportation.
Not only is Lou talented in his work life, but he also a proud three-year member of the University of Akron’s Concrete Canoe Team and Chair for the "Men Who Cook" committee. While he is not in the office, you can find Lou gardening, baking, and golfing in his spare time.
