For those unaware of this project, Stark County selected Summit as their general contractor for this new Wildlife Conservation Center. But what is a Wildlife Conservation Center? The primary function of the facility will be the recovery and rehabilitation of wild animals for release back into the wild.

This project consist of a single story 9,405 SF main building, and 10 animal enclosure buildings totaling 6,152 SF. The main building will be a masonry building with a brick, stone, and cedar siding. The building will also have a public interface and education area to further the community's knowledge of the wildlife that lives in Stark County.

Currently, the project is well underway with masonry walls up around the entire building. In addition, the roofing structure is almost finished which primarily consists of a standing seam metal roof over standard trusses and an atrium with exposed heavy timber trusses.
