This year, Summit Construction is leading two new community-focused projects in Northeastern and Eastern Ohio. Both projects will bring state-of-the-art facilities that support expert safety training for emergency personnel.

1. Cuyahoga Falls Fire Station #4 and Training Center

SCC is providing construction management for the City of Cuyahoga Falls' new Fire Station #4 and Training Complex. Designed by Hasenstab Architects, the new facilities will include a new fire station, a state-of-the-art training center, a 4-story training prop, and apparatus bays - garages designed for emergency vehicles with features like specialized flooring and high-speed doors.

2. Muskingum Watershed Conservancy District Tappan Regional Safety Center

SCC is providing construction management for the Muskingum Watershed Conservancy District's new Tappan Regional Safety Center.

"Located at 35400 Cadiz-Dennison Road in Scio, Ohio, the $4.6 million project will feature a Ranger Training Center and a new home for the Tappan Lake Volunteer Fire Department (TLVFD). Together, these facilities will serve as a central hub for education, emergency response coordination, and community engagement." (MWCD website)

Construction for the 12,175 square foot building broke ground in November of 2025, and is scheduled for completion this fall. SCC is partnering with Hasenstab Architects for this project.
