On November 26th, Middlebury Commons was celebrated by the East Akron community with a Ribbon Cutting ceremony and open house. 

The project commenced in July 2018 and was developed by the EANDC, East Akron Neighborhood Development Corporation, led by CEO Cheryl Stephens. 

“EANDC strengthens communities by providing affordable housing for all through quality rental housing, practical homeownership opportunities, and neighborhood based revitalization efforts.” - (EANDC.com)  

Middlebury Commons is a 60,000 sf income based apartment complex for seniors.  The mixed-use building features 40 1 & 2 bedroom apartments and sits on top of 14,000 sf of retail space.
