Summit Construction is proud to announce the completion of the new 22,000 square foot addition to the original ICAN Charter School located at the historic Goodyear building in Akron. In 2013, Summit was awarded to be the general contractor for the remodel of the ICAN School at the East End in Akron, Ohio. To keep up with the demand and success of the charter school, the team was brought back for an addition to bring high school students in. This fast-track project started construction in mid-May 2016 and was completed in just 9 weeks, just ahead of owner required occupancy. The new addition provides much needed space for the needs of ICAN’s growth and expansion.
