In March, Summit Construction began renovations for the generator expansion project at Bounce Innovation Hub, a local business incubator.

“Located in downtown Akron, the nonprofit organization comprises more than 300,000 square feet of coworking, event, meeting, and professional office space. With more than 50 organizations in the building, Bounce accounts for more than 250 people working and creating.” (bouncehub.org)

Since 2018, Bounce has been serving entrepreneurs and startups by offering workshops, courses, and accelerator programs. One of the Hub’s main offerings is its coworking and office spaces, which are ideal for business owners to carry out operations and host meetings and events.

Summit is providing general contracting services for the 18,900 SF project, which includes renovations to the Hub’s existing second floor. By this fall, new coworking and office spaces, conference rooms, a classroom, a creative/innovative work area, a kitchen, and phone-booths will be ready for use.
