In 2025, Summit Construction was selected to provide CMR services for Fairlawn Lutheran Church and School's new K-5 Grade School project. The Fairlawn Lutheran campus between West Market Street and Smith Road is expanding with a 20,500 square foot addition to create a new K-5 grade school. The church will also undergo a 10,500 square foot renovation.
Parishioners and community leaders celebrated the kickoff of the project with a groundbreaking ceremony on May 3rd.
As Akron.com shared, "Under the theme 'Igniting Faith for Generations to Come,' this expansion builds on the reputation of Fairlawn Lutheran's preschool program and brings the same Christ-centered approach to learning into elementary grades."
The renovation will include new restrooms, additional conference rooms, storage areas, and office spaces. The new elementary school addition will include a fully built-out lower level to accommodate grades K-5.
Summit Construction is proud to partner with Wheeler Boltz Architects on the new K-5 school, which is expected to be ready for occupancy in the Fall of 2027.
