Amanda, OH

On Saturday, November 22nd, we joined Amanda-Clearcreek Local School District to celebrate the final chapter of their District Improvements Program.

The district held a ribbon cutting and open house, setting the stage for a perfect day filled with community and excitement for students, staff and alumni.

The multi-phase project completed over nearly two years greatly enhanced the campus across the board, from athletics to academics and administration.

The facilities included a new 15,000 sf Field House, a 12,000 sf K-2 Addition, 3,000 sf Softball / Baseball Batting Cage Facility, and a new Storage Building.

Jake Jezerski, Adam Huwer, and Megan Smith proudly represented Summit Construction at the event, and Jezerski shared commemorative remarks about the project.

"This project was all about teamwork. A big thank you to TR Edwards, Lana Fairchild, and the district staff for your leadership and vision and making all our meetings from Design to Construction constructive but enjoyable. We also want to recognize Chris Dumford and Evan Kelsey from VSWC Architects for their creativity and collaboration. And of course, a huge shout-out to Summit’s own field team, Larry Hampp and Trace Wisecarver—who made these plans a reality."

"We also want to thank our amazing subcontractors who worked tirelessly behind the scenes to make this happen. Your craftsmanship and dedication are what brought these spaces to life. These new spaces will serve students, families, and the entire community for years to come. We’re proud to have been part of it. And, Go Aces!"

The Summit team is honored to have served as CMR for this transformative project that will leave an incredible impact on the Amanda-Clearcreek community for generations to come.
