October’s lunch and learn at Summit Construction revolved around the most crucial topic in our industry, SAFETY.  

Our safety managers Nate Booth and Mike Mancini led the Summit Team through an agenda covering the importance of a universal zero-tolerance safety mindset.

We had conversations about Toolbox Talks, site signage, safety as the #1 topic in coordination meetings, holding subcontractors responsible and accountable, policies and manual knowledge, certifications and requirements, emergency equipment and protocol, site utilization plans, company wide safety resources available to our team and much more. 

Safety is our #1 priority at Summit.  Our most paramount daily mission for each and every individual on a Summit job site is to leave in the same condition in which they arrived. Monthly lunch and learns help our team keep a safety mentality top of mind all year long.
