Summit Construction provided Construction Manager at Risk services for the 10,188 SF interior renovation of Akron Children’s Hospital's Research Institute. The renovation included a new cafe, offices and conference room with full upgrades to all life safety, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, technology and security systems.
SC provided full CMR services including budget management, schedule monitoring, subcontractor management, and hospital grade infection control services. The SC team implemented daily monitoring of project containment and negative air to ensure mitigation of dust and or contaminants to maintain the safest environment for the occupied Allergy ENT office next door.
