Hickory Harvest Food awarded Summit Construction to work on this 18,000 SF addition to their existing facility due to their growing business and expansion needs. During the development of this project, Summit’s scope of services included facilitating all aspects of construction, developing bid packages, contracting all subcontractors, coordinating all owner’s requirements and needs, and scheduling and supervising all work. By allowing SCC to competitively bid all scopes of work and monitor budget constraints, the Owner received the best value for the new expansion. In addition, SCC worked closely with owner’s process equipment team to allow for early installations while the addition was being constructed. The end result was turning over building on a fast-track schedule to meet owner’s needs.
The results that Summit accomplished was an on time, under budget project that incorporated key additional scope items to meet the owner’s future needs.
