Summit Construction provided construction management services for the City of Norton's Public Service Garage project. The work comprised a 13,000 square foot garage addition featuring a dedicated truck wash. The project also included a 1,800-square-foot renovation of the existing office area, along with a new addition that includes expanded office space, a break room, and a locker room.
The scope of work involved selective demolition of existing structures to accommodate new building connections, floor abatement within the existing office area, and the construction of new masonry walls. A pre-engineered metal building (PEMB) was utilized for the garage addition, supported by new garage doors, an upgraded HVAC system, and complete fire suppression, fire alarm, and flooring installations.
