Summit Construction was selected to provide Construction Manager At-Risk Services for Summa Health’s 4 East Detox Floor. This 9,000 SF project relocated Summa’s pre-existing Detox Floor from the St. Thomas Campus to Summa’s Main Campus.
The Summa 4 East Detox Floor includes 14 single patient rooms, updated walkways and a waiting room. Summit Construction provided HVAC, flooring, plumbing, casework, automatic operators, carpentry, paint, window coverings, lockers, wall protection, sprinklers, electrical, nurse call and access control services. Construction management services included bidding, supervision and management of day-to-day activities, document tracking, schedule tracking, and cost tracking.
This project was completed safely and successfully in an active hospital with strict guidelines and procedures.
