The General Contracting delivery model (GC) employs the contractor using a low competitive bid process. Unlike the CMR delivery model, the GC is selected to construct the project after the design phase is completed. The GC model is typically paired with either an Agency Construction Manager or Owners Representative to ensure interests of the Owner are met during the construction phase.
