Summit Construction provided General Contracting services for Middlebury Commons, a 60,000 SF mixed use facility with 40 apartments for low income seniors and a 1st floor commercial retail space. As General Contractor, SCC was responsible for all aspects of construction, coordination, and management of the project team from initial earthwork operations through building construction and final cleaning.
The SC team provided in depth coordination for owner related services such as gas and electric utilities, phone/internet services and FF&E and implemented quality controls to assure the owner's satisfaction for a long term building system performance. With a local presence, SC was able to provide immediate and real time response to the project requirements and Middlebury staff.
As a result, the Middlebury neighborhood has gained a beautiful facility providing new housing options and serving as a source of pride for the community.
